A Wedding in Venice, on the theme of constellations
How to organize a wedding in Venice if you live at a distance? They are the answer: Martina is from Schio, Rui is Portuguese and they live together in Singapore.
This would be enough to describe just part of the work that was done behind the scenes and the success that resulted in their event.
I first met them behind the scenes of a wedding I was coordinating, before it all started. Martina and Rui know the city very well, they also lived there for a while, and that's why they chose it as their wedding destination.
Martina is a UX Designer, Rui a developer: this means clear ideas, a lot of creativity in the field, an ongoing challenge. I immediately understood that organizing their wedding in Venice would be challenging but beautiful, and so it was.
That Night in Venice was the title of the experience they wanted to live and offer to their guests from all over the world: the theme of the constellations would accompany us, with elegance and style, as a single common thread. Martina impeccably designed and created the graphic suite and all the creative details of the event.
We worked a lot behind the scenes, via Skype, studying the details of a chromatic palette that had to be the perfect representation of their mood, and we also worked hard to select suppliers and brainstorm with them to manage the event. That July 27th, the night of the lunar eclipse, the whole Universe seemed to have lined up to help us shape their dream of a special midsummer night.
